Actually I was thinking smartphone/tablet when I did that <o>

The idea was a comic-like interface with player avatar and/or planes (or crews!) appearing in it so the whole game feels like you're reading a comic book about your avatar.

I imagine landscape layout wouldn't be too big a problem... but I think a more fundamental question being, do we need to go into this much detail for first release?

Is that first release being targeted to portrait users (ie mobile, tablet) or landscape users (ie widescreen, desktop, laptop)?
I thought the latter, but perhaps I'm just hoping some of that awesome art can make it into the first release.

Update with two sketches. One built upon my chinatown idea earlier and the other was my own vision of red capital... with almost all surfaces used for farming food and electricity while people lives underground.

Next batches (at least the concept/idea ones) are going to be in pencil since I have less time to spend in front of my computer due to work.

Still going through logs. D;
