Hello.
I might lend a hand with coding (professional programmer here). Where do the code monkeys/walruses keep their plans?

Best bet would be to talk to Burrito Loco or matejcik. They can usually be found in #fauxrates on irc.freenode.net, which is also where we hold meetings and generally chill out/be awesome people.

We could certainly use more coders! (I imagine... I think code is sorta mystical and possibly involves sacrifices...)

I might lend a hand with coding (professional programmer here). Where do the code monkeys/walruses keep their plans? if you're willing to do frontend (html + css + js + some scala on server-side), we will welcome you with open arms, shower you with crystal, beer and scantily-clad young slaves. (brand of beer and gender of slaves is your choice, will be ordered if not in stock) if not, well, there's still plenty of stuff to go around. come meet us in #fauxrates-coding and/or sign up to groups.google.com/group/fauxrates-coding

Scumbag Programmer: Makes offer to help. Disappears without a trace.
Sorry, but I suddenly don't have time to commit right now.

Here I am! I think a reimplementation of Skyrates would be great, and there's much more that can be done with it. I don't know net code, I don't know Perl or MySQL or HTML or Ruby or any of that. I do know Java a weensy bit and I know Python fairly well (the bugs and antics of Narbot can attest I'm not great!) That said, I'm willing to help. I don't know how often I'll come by here, so someone please drop me an email (lolologist at geemayul dhat cawm) if you need me for anything.
